Physiotherapy Programs

C.S. Physiotherapy is pleased to offer a range of services to help you reduce pain, speed recovery and get you back to your daily activities through our Physiotherapy Programs.

Exercise

A key component to a safe, and effective recovery is an understanding of proper form in exercise. Our team is trained in designing therapeutic exercise programs to strengthen your joints, and build support throughout your body to prevent future injury. The strengthening of weak support and stabilization muscles is important in reducing neck and back pain, as well as other pain conditions.

Our team is equipped with the training to put you on a path to recovery with easy to understand exercises that have specific results, and a big impact on your recovery. We’ll show you how to improve your range of motion, increase strength in critical areas, and bolster your stamina and coordination while at home or in the clinic.

Manual Therapy Techniques

Our professional Physiotherapists and Kinesiologists are trained in providing hands-on therapy to target areas of your body that are causing pain, discomfort, or are limiting range of motion and ability to perform. Manual intervention has the ability to target muscle and joint related issues particularly via massage, mobilization of soft-tissues, myofascial release, and other techniques to reduce pain, and aide in relieving health conditions. Manual therapies are an excellent solution for sports injuries, joint and spine conditions as well as headaches and neuromuscular conditions.

Integrated Systems Model

Evolving from 40 years of collaboration between practical clinic, and academic experience, the Integrated Systems Model is a framework to help clinicians provide the best possible treatment for patients. The approach is used here at C.S. Physiotherapy and Wellness by our very own Caitlin Cerre-Lee. There approach focuses on going beyond surface level systems to find a true root cause of your symptoms. Many bodily systems may be involved in such a diagnoses, and using the ISM approach, a clinician is able to diagnose that root cause to know where the best place to start the treatment is. A simpler way of phrasing that would be to say ‘Finding the Driver‘. Learn more about ISM here.
